After 4 years, Michał Gromada will come again with a new exhibition to Lipno, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship – the town where he was born. This time the photographer will present photos from the “Recycling Dogs” project implemented together with the Mikropsy Foundation, whose official premiere took place in the first half of 2022. Gromada invited as many as 50 famous artists, celebs and journalists, who posed for photos together with the dogs after the crossings. The number of people involved in the project made it one of the largest of its kind in the world. In the photos you can see, among others Małgorzata Rozenek-Majdan, Barbara Kurdej-Satan, Julia Kamińska, Katarzyna Sawczuk, Eliza Rycembel, Tomasz Ciachorowski, Monika Dryl, Karolina Pilarczyk, Anna Głogowska and Izabella Krzan. One of the models is also the famous actress, winner of the Golden Lion at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Kamila Kamińska, who will meet the audience of Lipno in person. Interestingly, one of the designers of upcycling clothes worn by the stars in the photos is Magda Starczewska, born and living in Lipno.
The Lipno vernissage of “Recycling Dogs” with the appearance of Kamila Kamińska and Michał Gromada will take place on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 18:00 in MCK Lipno. Free entrance.
During the event, you will be able to purchase a special photo album with as many as 100 photos, published by the respected Szelest publishing house, the income of which is 100% dedicated to the care, rescue and treatment of the four-legged charges of the Mikropsy Foundation. The exhibition will be on display in Lipno for several days.
Kamila Kamińska is a liked and respected actress, a graduate of the Łódź Film School, known to the Polish audience, among others from the series “Zakochani po uszy” or “Barwy szczęścia”, as well as from the films “Letters to Santa 3”, “Pół wieku poezji później”, “Love and Mercy: Faustina”. Her memorable performance in the famous movie “Breaking the Limits” dir. Łukasz Palkowski was born the Golden Lion during the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2017. Kamila Kamińska has collaborated with such theaters as ROMA and Imka. Currently, you can see her on the stages of, among others Warsaw’s Capitol Theater.
